Most people see AI as a product. I see it as infrastructure — the same way electricity stopped being a novelty and became the thing everything else plugs into. The real work isn't building one more chatbot. It's building the layer where a thousand different products can be built on top, each one tuned to the specific context it serves.
I started DevBlock Technologies with one conviction: that African businesses deserve infrastructure-grade AI, not demos. Not wrappers. Real systems that handle conversations at scale, route inference across providers, manage multi-tenant isolation, and work when the power goes out. I've been the architect, the engineer, and the first user of every system we build.
DevBlock Technologies builds the foundational infrastructure that other products are built on top of. Every system is designed for multi-tenancy, production resilience, and real customer workloads — not demo environments.
Every system I design follows the same discipline: if it breaks, it should self-heal. If it needs to scale, it should do so without re-architecture. The agent mesh I built — 20 specialist AIs across 11 divisions with 44 quality gates — isn't a demo. It's the actual operating system that builds, deploys, monitors, and fixes DevBlock's products in production.
The infrastructure spans Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Docker on bare-metal Ubuntu nodes, Tailscale mesh networking, and a unified inference gateway. Every component is designed for the reality of African infrastructure: intermittent power, variable connectivity, and the requirement that nothing breaks when the user can't be reached.
